When is a good time to take maternity photos?

Every expecting mama is different. Depends on how you feel during your pregnancy, but usually 30-34 weeks is common. If you aren’t feeling energetic, we can do a simple shoot inside. If you are feeling sexy as hell, we can take nude photographs. If you are motivated to hike, we can take photos by the beach. It’s up to you!

Do you do birthing photography or take photos at the hospital?

Yes! Birthing photography would be capturing the emotional moments leading up to and including the birth of your baby. “Fresh 48” photography would be photographing your baby in the hospital within 48 hours of birth. I would love to help with both.

do you have maternity gowns and dresses?

Of course! I have gowns, oversized sweaters, and robes. If I don’t have something you’re looking for, I’ll get it.

When should i schedule newborn photos?

Newborns are easier to photograph within the first few weeks of their birth. They are happy being swaddled and like to sleep at this stage. The longer you wait, the more alert they are. It’s ok if you wait to photograph your baby, just understand there are limitations to the poses and props as they get bigger. They might also be awake in the photos as opposed to sleeping.

what’s the difference between newborn mini and newborn full session?

Good question! A newborn mini session would be photos of just your newborn…posed or natural. These sessions can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. A newborn full session will include photos with parents, siblings, and have a wider variety of props, set ups and wardrobe. Full sessions are usually 3 to 4 hours. The longer session times allow for feeding, changing, and multiple set ups.

do you offer holiday mini sessions?

Heck yeah! I will announce dates, times, and prices on social media. You can also fill out the contact form and receive notice before everyone else.

how do i pay you?

I accept cash, personal checks, credit, Venmo, and PayPal.

is a deposit required to book?

A deposit is required to reserve your date, yes.

where are you located?

I am based out of Orange County, California and will commute to Los Angeles and San Diego counties without charging travel fees.

do you offer a discount if i book more than one event?

Yes, I will absolutely apply a discount for booking multiple shoots. I also have a referral program that offers discounts and free products!

how long have you been a photographer?

I’ve been taking photos since I got my first camera at 13. I’ve spent the last several years photographing friends, family and even my own babies. I started my business and became a professional photographer in 2018.

do i need to bring the props for my baby’s photo shoot?

Only if you want something specific and special to you. Otherwise, I have all buckets, baskets, bonnets, headbands, wraps and accessories.
